Print and Online Graphics, Color Consulting, and Architectural Signage
Julie is a multi-faceted designer with particular expertise in experiential graphics. Her ideal scenario is to be involved from the beginning of a project, collaborating with the client and design team to create the best possible user experience. Her approach combines both the creative and technical aspects of branding, design, and production.
Her environmental graphics experience includes color and materials selection, project management and documentation, code compliance, and supervising fabrication, installation and print production.
Julie envisions her scope as part of the whole, regardless of the size of the team or the project. Smaller, short-term projects include colors for high-end residential, donor systems, and books. Julie’s largest project (to date!) was the 27-year development of 92 acres of park signage, and branding, for Battery Park City Parks Conservancy in NYC. Along the way were 10 years of annual reports for The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, and working closely with the Architects on colors for Convention Centers in NYC and LA.
Julie’s work has been nationally recognized in publications including Architecture, Architectural Record Identity, and Sign Business, as well as in books and trade journals.
